2011: Optimizing the Potential of ARV-based Prevention
In May of 2011, AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition (AVAC) in collaboration with the John M. Lloyd Foundation will host the tenth annual John M. Lloyd AIDS Project at Stony Point Center. This conference plans to address the absence of a clear, consensus-based agenda for optimizing the potential of ARV-based prevention, including both antiretrovirals for reducing infectiousness of HIV-positive people and the potential use of oral and topical ARV formulations to reduce risk of HIV infection among HIV-negative people.
