2007: Agenda for Research and Advocacy on the Expansion of HIV Testing
In May of 2007, the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) in partnership with the John M. Lloyd Foundation and with additional support from the Elton John AIDS Foundation hosted the sixth annual John M. Lloyd AIDS Project at Stony Point Center. ICRW invited a select group of experts in public health, ethics, human rights, gender and stigma and advocates living with HIV to build an advocacy strategy for the expansion of testing and counseling and to devise a research agenda to determine whether the World Health Organization's guidance is being effectively implemented.
