In order to provide increased sustained support to organizations that are poised to grow to the next organizational and strategic level, the Foundation will start to award multi-year grants in the Fall of 2007. These grants will provide $150,000 over three years in unrestricted general support to organizations with excellent records of fighting the AIDS pandemic.

A request for proposals will be sent to a selected group of previous Lloyd Foundation grantees whose work has been proven effective. Due to the anticipated highly competitive nature of this grant program, the Foundation will give preference to those organizations which are most likely to leverage the award to create the greatest level of advancement for the organization's development as well as for the overall battle to end AIDS.

Multi-year award winners are not eligible to receive consecutive multi-year awards (i.e. for six consecutive years of grants), nor Spring Cycle awards, nor the John M. Lloyd AIDS Project at Stony Point Center award during the period of the multi-year award.
